Job Description

Excavator Operators needed at Lockport Recycling Center LLC. located at 178 Oakhurst Street, Lockport New York. Part Time & Full Time positions available Responsibilities:

Maneuvering motorized heavy equipment to ensure the accurate removal and placement of materials.
Operate an excavator and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently
Load C&D materials into walking floor trailers
Secure loads by tarping the trailer
Move trailers within the parking lot
Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment
Follow all the safety procedures and guidelines
Work as part of a team to meet daily operational goals

Requirements:

Proven experience operating heavy equipment (excavator required)
Experience with walking floor trailers is a plus
Ability to tarp trailers and move them within a lot is helpful but not required
Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects as needed
